Now it’s time for Joyetech to release its final form in the shape of the Joyetech Espion Infinite. It presents itself as a futuristic beast of a device, with a max power output of 230 watts. Compatible with both 21700 or 18650 batteries in a dual configuration, the Espion Infinite presents itself as an all-capable piece of kit. Bundled with the Procore Conquer sub-ohm tank, the Espion Infinite is looking to be another monster of a cloud chucker. Let’s check out the details of the mod down below and see if it lives up to the hype. Be sure to check the vape buyer’s guides for important information to take into consideration before making your purchase. Review: Joyetech Espion Infinite kit Manufacturing Quality It’s hard to ignore what is probably the most eye-catching element of the Joyetech Espion Infinite: it’s infinite mirror display. Accentuated by the beautifully finished zinc alloy chassis, the infinity mirror borders the 1 inch TFT color display, giving the entire mod an almost cyberpunk-ish theme which is really easy on the eyes. The effect is further amplified with the inclusion of customizable LED lighting that lets you add even more flair with its eight LED themes. The Joyetech Espion Infinite uses the familiar yet effective three button layout. The large firing button on the side is easy enough to locate just by feel alone, and it also produces a nice satisfying click whenever pressed, further adding to the sense of tactile response whenever firing up the device. The up and down buttons are located at the top of the mod, next to the atomizer in order to maintain the clean and futuristic facade that joyetech brand has managed to cultivate with this device. The bottom of the device houses the sturdy trapdoor battery compartment. The hinges are sufficiently solid and don’t wiggle or rattle except for when empty, which should help give you peace of mind knowing that your batteries aren’t going anywhere once firmly in place. Multiple battery venting holes can also be found at the bottom of the mod, which is always a welcome sight. The top of the Joyetech Espion Infinite houses the spring loaded stainless steel 510 connection. With the practically designed centered position, it’s possible to use atomizers up to 30mm wide without any overhang. Flavor Quality Thanks to the Procore Conquer tank the Joyetech Espion Infinite manages to achieve the ideal balance between cloud production without limiting the flavor in any way. While most mesh coils tend to fall flat in terms of performance, the reticular coil system by Joyetech manages to avoid this through what seems to be a much more efficient airflow design as well proper wicking of the included coils. The airflow is nice and smooth and doesn’t produce any turbulence regardless of how open or restricted you set the adjustable airflow slots too. The kit includes a ProcA 0.4ohm head, as well as a ProcD 0.15-ohm coil head, the latter of which is geared more towards serious cloud chasers who don’t mind a little compromise in flavor production. When it comes to the overall vaping experience, the Joyetech Espion Infinite doesn’t disappoint thanks to its lightning-quick response time or virtually zero firing delay. The mod hasn’t misfired as of yet, so it also gets brownie points in that regard. Power Flexibility Due to the large output range of 1-230 watts, the Joyetech Espion Infinite is capable of firing up pretty much any build you can imagine or install on the Procore Conquer tank. While not included in the kit, the tank also supports a variety of coils designed and manufactured by Joyetech such as the ProC1-S, a 0.25-ohm coil head designed for mouth to lung users, or the ProC4, a 0.15-ohm head which uses a quad coil configuration for even more cloud production. The Joyetech Espion Infinite doesn’t lack any of the features or vaping modes that’s come to be expected of a device of this caliber. Temperature control for nickel, stainless steel, and titanium coils are all supported. The adjustable TCR allows for up to three memory presets, more than enough for storing all your fine-tuned preferences. Customisable preheat settings are also included as part of the chipset, suited for firing up bigger and harder to heat up coils in wattage mode, for minimal ramp-up time. Ease of Use The organized and easy to navigate UI makes tinkering with the mod’s settings a breeze, even for vaping newcomers. While some might call the three button layout archaic by today’s standards, it’s more about the implementation, and in the Joyetech Espion Infinite’s case, even without the help of a dedicated menu button, most users shouldn’t have a problem cruising through the device’s settings and making any changes they desire. Like most variable wattage and TC devices, the Joyetech Espion Infinite powers up with a simple five clicks on the firing bar. Three clicks give you access to the menu, with the up/down buttons used to navigate the settings. While it does take some time to get used to for newcomers to the hobby, veterans should feel right at home with this kind of setup. The 5.5ml maximum e juice capacity makes the Joyetech Espion Infinite a fill-and-forget device. With a reservoir that large, you’ll hardly ever find the need to refill your tank in the middle of the day. The easy push/slide top cap mechanism makes it a walk in the park for the few occasions that a top-up is actually required. Portability
The Joyetech Espion Infinite is decently sized for a device of its capabilities. Measuring in at 49.5mm by 33mm by 140.5mm, it’s got a bit of girth to it, but it’s definitely not big enough as to make the mod a hindrance when trying to pocket it. The lack of any sharp edges makes gripping the mod reasonably comfortable, especially for extended vaping sessions. Those concerned about the Joyetech Espion Infinite’s battery life should have nothing to worry about. The dual 21700 or 18650 battery setup provides literally days of non-stop vaping before requiring a recharge. The mod supports direct charging with a micro USB port that charges at a rate of 2 amps max. Still, it’s always more advisable to use a separate external charger when multi-battery setups are involved. Overall Experience With a unique and never seen before design, it’s hard to give the Joyetech Espion Infinite a pass. Especially when considering the overall performance of the kit, with its wide wattage range, multiple vaping modes, and rigid construction, the Joyetech Espion Infinite is looking to be one of the must-try vaping kits among recent releases.
